Hiring part-time administrative assistant

Looking for part-time administrative help to assist the Orr’s & Bailey Islands Fire Department Chief in the administration, organization, and management of duties related to fire and rescue operations. Work hours are expected to be flexible though initial training will need to be coordinated with the Chief. Duties will include administrative actions of scheduling, department communications, training file maintenance, vendor coordination, recruitment facility tours and other department activities as required to help maintain an efficient and effective operation. Initially this role will require up to 20 hours per week. Competitive pay commensurate with experience. Work location will be at the 1600 Harpswell Islands Rd Fire Department station with some work from home activities available. Fire and Rescue operations knowledge not required but is advantageous.
